When you remove something from Facebook, it is permanently removed from your account. It’s gone off our servers and backup systems, so we won’t be able to recover this deleted data.

Is it possible to recover permanently deleted photos after 30 days? Yes, but you’ll need a backup in the cloud or on an external drive.

Take a backup of your Google Account on Android. Open Settings on your phone and select Account. If prompted, log in using your account and password. Look for a button called Backup & Restore. Select it and then click Restore.

According to Facebook, it keeps “backup copies for a reasonable amount of time” after deletion, and this can last up to three months. It also says that it may keep copies of “certain information” from closed accounts, although personally identifying information is removed.

Tap your name in the top right corner of Facebook and choose Profile. Select Photos from the menu options. Scroll down to select Profile Pictures or Cover Photos if you can’t see all of your albums. [Number] More Albums is a link that will take you to additional albums if there are any more than what you can see on the screen.
