Samsung is going to hold an event next week (June 20th) in London. In late May I published an article predicting the five Android devices that we might see there. Yesterday, rumors started circulating around the internet that said Samsung was going to come out with a really high end “Galaxy Camera 2” that uses mirrorless technology at their event. J.K. Shin, speaking to reporters in Korea yesterday, confirmed this according to The Korea Times: There are no additional details, but earlier rumors seem to suggest that this device might pack a 20.9 megapixel sensor. Megapixels aren’t everything however, and I’m sure you’re all wondering how big their sensor is, how fast is their lens, will the lens be replaceable, and so on and so forth. ‘Samsung will release our latest mirrorless camera that runs on Google’s Android software,” he told reporters.” We’ll find out in just a week.
