Actress Lily Collins is in early talks to play Edith Bratt opposite Nicholas Hoult in the upcoming J.R.R. Tolkien biopic Tolkien, which will explore the early life of the famed author known for his fantasy epics The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and Middle-earth stories during the horrors of World War I. When it was announced a couple of months ago that actor Nicholas Hoult was in talks to play Tolkien in the biopic written by David Gleeson and Stephen Beresford and directed by Dome Karukoski, Lord of the Rings fans were eager to see who would be cast as Tolkien’s love interest and eventual wife Edith Bratt - the woman who inspired the elven princess character Lúthien in Tolkien’s recently published epic love story The Tale of Beren and Lúthien as well as Arwen from The Lord of the Rings....
