Some users on Reddit and Twitter are reporting that iTunes and the App Store are down. Other are able to access normally, suggesting that the issue is either small-scale or intermittent. Apple’s status page is not yet showing an issue, though it is common for Apple to be very slow to update the page. The issue doesn’t seem to be specific to any one country, with reports from the U.S., Europe and Asia (including me in the UK) … The iTunes store is giving a ‘cannot complete your request’ message, while the App Store is proving unresponsive for those affected....

Apple’s official list of availability for iTunes Match by country has not been updated to include Poland, Hungary, or any additional markets, but currently lists 55 countries with access to the service. Local reports claim the service is available for 24.99 euros in Hungary, which is on par with pricing in other markets....

According to a new report, Jessica Chastain is set to star in the upcoming IT sequel as the adult version of Beverly. After months of speculation, her casting had almost become an inevitability. Rumors of Chastain’s involvement with IT: Chapter Two date all the way back to last July, roughly a month and a half before the IT reboot even hit theaters. Actress Sophia Lillis, who plays Beverly Marsh in IT, was asked who she’d like to see play the adult version of her character in the sequel, and she quickly responded with Chastain....

Stephen King certainly nailed it when he created the villain of Pennywise the dancing clown as his main villain in the colossal novel IT. Clowns are scary to a lot of people already, but the way that Pennywise terrorizes Derry and the Losers Club is enough to give readers of the book and viewers of the miniseries and films nightmares for decades to come. If anyone in real life came face to face with Pennywise or a Pennywise lookalike they’d probably run for their lives, but it’s easy to laugh at what may terrify you when you’re sitting comfortably behind a computer screen....
